Comment: In Virginia we typically troll for spanish. A small clark spoon is the favorite bait on a long, clear leader. Trolling speed should be close to 6 knots.

Comment: I used to catch spanish mackerel in north and south carolina(cherry grove, north myrtly beach). I used to really be into king mackerel fishing too.
