Hey guys, have you ever used Zebco Omnifelx? well, I was at Walmart the other day and I bought two new pairs of rods and reels. I wanted to string them up with 8 lb test, and I didn't think I had any. I was running a bit low on cash, so instead of buying Trilene or Stren like I usually do, I bought this out-of-the-way brand called "Zebco Omniflex". It ws only 2.50 for a spool, so I thought I might regret having this on my reel. I was wrong. Alas, I gave it a try, and it seems to cast well and doesn't cause any birdsnests or anything. So next time you are at the store shopping for line, save yourself the extra 5 bucks and buy omniflex, you won't regret it (And neither will your wallet).
For a bit more literature on this line, read this review I found:

anyway, just thought I'd share |

| i seem to do the opposite, i spend more on line than a lot of stuff, its the real connection to the fish. i have a hundred dollar reel and have had many times that in line pass threw the guides. Seaguar floro rocks, JMIO |

| omniflex is pretty good stuff, but there is NO bite-off resistance against toothy fish, I plan on replacing it with braid. |

| you may be best served by running a good floro leader. The leader material is a lot stiffer but resists bite off better. My favorite is seaguar. |
