| Reliable reports from anglers making the run out the the "Gulls" talk of blitzing stripers in the post dawn hours. Fly anglers report terrific action on stripers ranging from 24 to 36 inches around Grat Gull and litle Gull Islands from 1st light till about 9 am for the past 3 days. Fish are taking a variety of patterns that mimmick small baitfish. With most of the action on the surface, anglers fishing deep are hooking the bigger fish. Bluefish are also making there presence known. |
