Was doing a little surfing and came across this, what looks to be very real data regarding some different style hook statistics.
Thought maybe some of you would be interested.
Going to take a while for my little brain to sift through most of it and make sense of it all...but the 'H' hook looks to be a good bet, but I cannot get use to using a circle hook.
Ever since I was a little kid I was taught, feel a bite? Set the hook!

| Wow! That is alot to digest, looks like good information though. As far as circle hooks go,I am officially a convert as of this year.I bait fish maybe 30% of the time, eels, chunks, cut bait, large live bait.No more gut hooked fish, always in the corner of the mouth, makes it a breeze to release em. |
