Shetucket River

Went fishing around 8. It was cold and the water was up. I had one hit on my second cast and had a fish on a few casts later. I didn't caught anything but I still had fun. I think I will go back later this week.

I was fishing for salmon. I used gold and silver phoebes. I saw one guy catch one using a fly.

NOTICE OF DRAWDOWN TOWN: WINDHAM
Beginning September 27, 2010, FirstLight Power Resources, the owner and operator of the Scotland Hydroelectric Project located on the Shetucket River, will commence lowering the water level above the Scotland Dam approximately 14 feet from its normal point to allow for maintenance activities in and around the dam. The water level is expected to begin to return to its normal elevation on October 2, 2010.Please note that this schedule may change at any time based on weather conditions and FirstLights need to generate electricity at the time of the drawdown.
