First time going for Sea run Trout this weekend. Im not sure what bait to use. Iv look on web. sites but really no luck. If it help im going in a brook that iv herd has them. Any advice would help.

if the water is shallow, an inline spinner is a good bet for smaller fish, i have also had great luck on minnow type baits. The yo-zuri pinns minow with the brown back and orange belly is good for medium size and a larger rapala in a brite color for larger fish.

If you are fishing in brackish water, grass shrimp are good. I've caught a few sea runs on red/white daredevils. Live minnows/shiners will work. Night crawlers are an old favorite.
