STRIPED BASS - That downhill slide we mentioned last week has turned
into falling off the edge. There hasn't been a report of a bass locally
over 15 pounds this week, even the bass on Long Sand Shoal have shrunk
in numbers and size. A few schoolies have been reported in the last few
days from Harkness and Watch Hill. Montauk still has the best collection
of school bass. The only bright note is that theres a school of herring,
gannets and bass off Pt.Judith as of last night and they're working
south. They don't seem too close to the beach, but theres always hope.

BLUEFISH - Its very safe to throw those Slug-gos now with very little
chance of getting chopped. We haven't heard of any blues this week, but
historically they stage their last battle across the Sound at Rocky Point.

BLACKFISH- Not too many souls on reefs this week due to weather. Its a
safe bet that they're still out there, but we don't have any first hand
news.
BLACKFISH CONTEST STANDINGS - Contest ends December 6th.
1st Place Rich Anderson 13.50 lbs
2nd Walt Budzyn 12.30 lbs
3rd Mike Kraemer 12.20 lbs
SEMINARS- We're starting to plan for some seminars and workshops this
winter. We'd like to get some input and ideas from you. Let us know what
you'd like to see this winter.

BONEFISH- Again we're traveling to Acklins Island in the Bahamas next
February to chase bonefish on some pretty awesome flats with some of the
best guides in the Bahamas. We have just one opening left, if you would
like to join us for a mid winter break call Pat at 860-388-2283.
