Stopped on the way home yesterday and gave it a go. Got one small silver fish on a black beaded woolie bugger. Any idea what that fish could have been? It was not picture worthy, but thinking after, I should have so I can figure out what it was. Some one told me once, but I don't remember. I believe they are very common in rivers and stream. If the job and the weather cooperate, will try again after work today.

Thanks!

If it had a forked tail, it was an Atlantic Salmon... they must be released unharmed

I looked the dance uo online and it looked like that. I'm pretty sure there are no Atlantic Salmon in the quinebaug river.
