| People were ice fishing in Wrights Cove across from the power plant the ice jumped and in some places cracked. They said the fireball was higher than the stackes at the plant. It's awful to have people killed and injured while just doing their jobs. |

| I live in Westbrook and we heard and feld the explosion. I could not even guess what it was like at ground zero. |

I live in Wallingford and was working under my truck at the time. Heard it and felt it.
From the looks of the building, I'm amazed so many people survived. |

| That sucks we were fishing when it happen but it was the first thing I saw when I turned on the TV. I feel bad for those families. |
