I spend as much time as possible with one of my fishing rods in my hand. As you can imagine if the handle is cork it will start to look very bad in a short period of time. It did not bother me to much for a long time until i got a new rod and i was totally grossed out seeing the clean new model next to the old. A quick search of the net showed that a favorite was a standard magic eraser. They work really well with almost no effort. In a few minuets and a very little effort expended it was looking near new and good to go. Who does not have one of these little wonders just laying around the house??? Want to up the game a little throw on some u-40 cork sealer afterward and your all good to go. I was initially concerned that it may change the feel, and it is almost the exactly the same. I only went with one coat as the directions says so more may be less in this case.

I'm going to have to remember this. Thanks for the tip.
