Put in at the ram in Norwich and first went up the right arm when facing down stream. I pulled a 4" blue fish on a mepps spinner. I was trying for fresh water species but it still must be to brackish up that way. The storm put some additional water over the dam, and the gorge was an awesome water fall that my boy got a real kick out of. There was a ton of trash, on that side, and it smelled horrible. I started up the quinabug side of the river about 7:45 but did not make it far enough, to get to the small-mouth. I got no bites on that side at all, but what to expect after a rain like that one. Ran an electric blue beaver tail to try and get noticed, but no luck. I will run up that way again, because there are a few spots around the 8th street bridge i would like a shot at before i write the lower section of the river off.
