Went to devils hopyard for a day with the fam on mothers day. Every other man on the planet seemed to have the same idea, take the family and bring the pole. There were not any fish being taken, although i did see a brook trout in someones cooler, that was just below the falls in the pool. The live crawler seemed to be the only producer, and that is not realy my style. I did get to see some new sections of the river, trying to get away from the crowds, but the good sections were all double booked at the least and kids were all in the river. Not great for trout action but it is wat it is....

My mom seemed to object to me rigging plastics at the dining room table so I slunk (slinked?) into the living room to watch the end of the Players. My intentions were to hit the trout pond at Chatfield Hollow as it's just down the street. Mom wins on mothers day.
