| Looking at sevral types of hooks to replace the rusted ones on my plugs. I know dull hooks suck but i hate them staining my plugs, so recomend a good hook that will not rust on me.... |

| As I replace hooks on my plugs, I often just go with a single siwash or more recently I've experimented with a tail circle hook as opposed to the trebles. Turns out this year, several manufacturers are going the same way. Owner, Mustad, Gamakatsu all make good hooks, as do several other manufacturers. Many of my saltwater plugs just have the single tail hook know as opposed to the double trebles. I release most all of my fish, and trebles are just a pain in the rear. Just a thought. Rusty hooks will cost you far more hook-ups than anything. |
