Had a lull in the work today so wanted to head out on the ice for a bit. Met up with a fairly new fishing buddy and he brought me to a farm pond he only fishes in the summer.
I didn't arrive till about 1 pm set up and action was slow, this was the scene for most of the afternoon.
But about 3:30 I had my one and only flag and managed this little guy.
We jigged and found some small crappie, yellow perch and a bunch of Bluegill jigging, they seemed to favor spikes and Moussies over the wax worms for some reason today.
I think this pond has some great potential, I just need to spend some time on it which I plan to do. |

Glad you could do the scouting, I slept for the better part of three hours.
I have to go out sanding tomorrow 4am and might head out with the "ole lady" for a few hours in the afternoon, if I do I'll let you know how we do, regardless think of what you want to do on friday. |
