Well i got out yesterday in scout for some flatties. The day b4 CT open season. Was cool and cloudy wind outta the south. not too choppy. Got to the launch. Only 2 other trailers. Came round naptree some terns workin. Iset up shop infront of the carousel. First was bout a 16" dropped at boatside. Next over the rail was a robin. After a move no sooner than my bucks hit bottom, double whacked! thought it was a nice one but turned out to be 2 rat blues!! Two more shorties bout 13" and everyones favorite a sk8. Fished the tail end of the outgoin till the incomin. Less than a hndful of boats out there with me. Not an impressive trip but good to know there is light! Its better to go out and write the book then sit home readin it!
