It was nice out on the water yesterday. We went out to our usual spot at Southwest Reef. Got to try out my new rod.  A number of boats out there, but plenty of fluke around. We were also trying for some blues, but didn't get any bites.
The morning was good, with 9 fluke and one keeper. But, the afternoon was slow. I spoke to some other anglers at the dock and they had some good luck going deep, around 100 ft. We were only from 30 - 60 ft yesterday, so we will probably start looking for deeper water next week. |
