Got out this morning at the mouth of the Pawcatuck River. Tried several of the rock piles and cuts that normally hold fish. No luck. Wetn up river and picked up a couple of small fish. Contintued fishing various spots and took a couple more in the 20 inch range.
Motored back to the river mouth changing flies and tactics with no better luck. Back to the dock by 8:30.
Best fly was a chartruese/ white Blonde size 2/0. |
