For the past 6 years, i have fished Blackwell Brook here in Brooklyn. It's just 3 minutes from my house. However, this year I'm thinking of trying the Natchaug river. I have passed it on my way to Mansfield Hollow pond, and see guys fly fishing there all the time. Anyone ever fished there?
Good luck to any and all going out this morning. Heading to Black Pond in Middletown for a party / fishing tourney. Small pond connects to far side of Black Pond and has a narrow channel allowing access. Pavillion, fire pit, food & drink. Should be an all day affair. About a dozen or so boats and me in my yak.
