The smallmouth action has been pretty good and the Walleye were biting into July. I noticed some sunfish off the dock and have caught a few; something that I haven't been able to say in 3-4 years. The Yellow perch seem to still be in the toilet while the White perch are literally busting at the surface and eating anything that might be a meal. I haven't caught a Largemouth this year.
About a week ago I was driving by "the arrow" and noticed a crowd of people at the beach there. At the center was a kid with a 6-7ft rod and next to him was a guy ready with a net that was big enough to fit my dog. There must've been a carp out there somewhere. That or somebody pulled another shark/alligator prank.
