I can't speak for the "Shakespeare Axiom" but I can say that if you're trying a bait caster for the first time, regardless of the brand or the cost, give yourself time to get used to it and read the setup instructions that come with it, before you toss it in the lake!!! It does take time to get used to the different casting technique!
