Hey, I was just down the road from you yesterday! Spent some of the day at Mansfield Hollow. Was trolling for pike using my fly rods. Nothing hit them though. Glad you got your first pike. They are my favorite fresh water fish. |

| Got skunked today at Pachaug Pond though, too windy I think. I'll put up a trip tomorrow. |

| Put in at Pachaug Pond above the dam (Pachaug River). Paddled/drifted all the way to Hopeville Pond (past the second bridge on Bitgood RD) casting along the way. Then fought the current AND the wind to get back and spent a couple hrs casting from shore around pond side of the dam. Zipp. |
