Greenville Dam

I fished The dam for the first time in 5 years and was surprized too see the work that has been done to make it more fishing friendly! It doesnt help that I landed a 32 inch 13 lbs stripper on my second cast either! The shad are still stacking up there so soft baits are working great! I saw a bluefish get taken also so the fish are moving up the Thames and stacking up! The water is fast so any fish you do hook in to will feel like a cow! The birds are beautiful, there is an eagle that flies over head and will pick up a free meal if your not to careful! But all in all it was a great day! I went back on wed. and caught a few schoolies and a nice looking shad! Hope this helps! I havent been to the ballfield yet but will be heading there 2morrow!
