July 30 update

Capt. Ray called in another excellent Striped Bass report for last night's outing. From the first drift to the last drift it was complete mayhem with Stripers on up and down the boat. Weather conditions were somewhat challenging as 20z was needed to just skip along the bottom and it still looked like anglers were flying kites so understandably some fish lived to fight another day nevertheless the Stripers were ravenous in the fast moving water and at the end of the night the majority of anglers aboard were limited out with nice fish. No monsters but the largest were in the 20 lb range with very few shorts. Just a couple bluefish mixed in. Still plenty of openings for Friday and Saturday Night's outings and still a bunch of openings for tonight's trip. Capt. Ray looks forward to tonight's Striper trip leaving at 7pm aboard the Lady Frances.

July 28 7-4 and 1/2
Capt. Rich reported a good day of fishing for anglers aboard the Fluke/sea bass trip today with the sea bass once again taking center stage. All nice jumbo stuff in the 2.5 to 3 lb range with some up to 4 lbs and anglers had upwards to a half dozen or slightly better apiece. On the Fluke front things were better than the last few trips with a good number of jumbo fluke to 6.5 lbs boated and longtime regular customer Bruce from Northern Mass was hi hook with 5 jumbo fluke. Way to go Bruce! Capt. Rich looks forward to tomorrow's Fluke/sea bass outing at 7am aboard the Gail Frances. Capt. Don reported an excellent half day AM outing with some nice keepers and lots of shorts to keep anglers busy. Tomorrow we feature three half day options for anglers with four hour trips leaving at 8am, 1pm and 4pm.

July 28 recent updates
Capt. Rich reported Sunday's fluke/cbass trip was excellent. Another all out sea bass crush with a modest group of anglers putting over 150 big sea bass to 6 lbs in the boat including three fish over 5 lbs and many fish in the 2 to 3.5 lb range. Most anglers were in the double digits or close to it apiece. A few nice shots of jumbo fluke up to 6 lbs in the mix as well but the sea bass really were the show stoppers!! Capt. Mike reported that yesterday's full day 8am fluke boat had a nice mix of good size fluke and jumbo sea bass for his anglers. The recent half day trips of the past couple days have produced a mix of keeper and short fluke plus some sea bass and scup but nothing enormous as of late.
