Tried fishing the mouth of the river again today, because today was to be the best day of the weekend. Found a very strong constant breeze from the south, which kept the out flow of the river at a slow pace. It was a lot colder down there than you would think, back at home it is mid 70s at the shore it had to be about 50 on the dock, a mile in land it was beautiful. All that aside I only managed to get one 14 inch stripper before my wife said she has had enough fun for one day so after an hour and a half we called it quits. A lot of boats were coming and going some out fishing others out for the fun. Dont think much was cought off shore, didnt see any one coming back with anything. Rivers end said there was not much activity other than the occasional scoolie in the river. I might try my luck again next weekend, if the wife lets me. Its mothers day.
