The ramp in South Windsor is called Verbert Rd. The spring flood is only a day or to, the problem after that is mud. The launch fills up with the stuff. S.W. public work cleans it out often. I have no problems launching there most of the spring for shad fishing. I also like the launch at Bart Drive-in in Windsor it on the Farmington an only a few minutes to the river.
