I THINK CONNECTICUT OUTFITTERS ON WHETERSFIELD AVE IN HARTFORD IS ONE OF THE BEST BAIT SHOPS IN THE ARE THEY ARE OPEN FROM 6AM TO 6 PM ON WEEKDAYS AND FROM 6AM TO 2 PM ON SUNDAY I NOTISED THAT THEIR BAIT IS ALWAYS FRESH AND DON'T DIE AFTER MY FIRST CAST

Mon-Thur 10-6
Fri 6pm-7pm
Sat 6-6
Sun 7-2

Don't forget "Stinky fingers" here in Windsor for your bait , or Joe's in Windsor locks, you don't have to drive into downtown Hartford. Or my garage for that matter. tbob don't be bringing no coupons and asking if I can match them!
