| I’ve noticed a problem with my rods and reels this spring that I never noticed before, and I don’t recall ever hearing anyone else mention it before either. I’ve got an assortment of Shakespeare graphite rods and spinning reels, and I’ve noticed that when I reel in or sometimes even after a cast I get a static build up and a shock when I touch the bale. Anyone else ever have a problem like that? |

Try a dryer sheet. My better half uses "Bounce",no static and it has a nice smell! |

Ya know... I figured I would get at least one response like that, but I didn't think it would be the first one! |
