Went out this morning with two other guys on some private land down by the CT river. Once I got to my spot there were deer making their way around. Sat in the rain for the majority of the morning with little to show but another passing of deer. Finally three birds showed up about 100 yards out, tried making some calls and they started to come closer. More deer came by at this point. Waited for the birds to come closer but they never came closer than say 50 yards, I think one of them may have been a jake but they might have all been hens anyways. Hopefully better luck on tuesday!

You did better then we did Saturday. I picked up my newphew at 5:30am and headed to Winchester with my son. We hunted till 11:30 without even hearing a single gobble. All we got was wet and walked about a mile total. It was still better then sitting on the couch though.
