I live in the neighborhood and its a nice place to go if you just need your fix or just want to relax. By the boat launch there are pick nick tables and there is sort of a peninsula. If you go there and just keep casting to the edges of the Lilly pads you are guaranteed at least one largemouth. I use a floating Rapala and just make splashed and herk the bait until a bass hits and then I slowly reel in and most of the time I hook up! Good luck guys!
This place has some very large carp in it. I saw several BIG carp jumping clear out of the water in the lily pads along the east side.
