  • ssheldon1, I'd have to disagree with you. You may be a bass fisherman, but If you fish for carp and catfish like me, this place is all you'll want to fish at. In my opinion , I think bottom fishing is better because the fish put up a huge fight!

  • This is a very small pond surrounded by a walking path and 3 or 4 children playgrounds. There's a pavilion by the water where parties and other events are regularly held. This lake used to be great but over the years the water condition has deteriorated to maybe a foot or less of visibility due to rainwater drain off and silt build up. Also it's a man made rock bath tub with no structure for baitfish to spawn and call home. Accordingly the bass population is weak. Due to all the commotion the bass spook easily. Plus the place is probably the heaviest pressured ponds in South Jersey per acre. This is a formerly great spot which has been mismanaged over the years.
