  • The fish seem to be finicky here. i go alot and usually get nothin more then something, however whenever i get a fish its worth the uneventful trips. caught a 20 inch pickerel and another trip got 6 bass that all were 12 inches or over. biggest was a 14.5 inch 2 pound largemouth. Also have gotten yellow perch and some nice sized sunfish. Bass love the senkos wacky rigged and pickerel love just about anything. got mine on a bucktail jig.

  • Went here again today, and caught all types of fish. The pickeral stole one of my jigs, bit me off with not a chance to do anything. Two smaller bass about a pound each and tons of babys. The crappy were biting good, and even pulled a yellow perch. The bite was fantastic for this early in the season, there were no fish of real size though, and due to the warm winter, the north end of the pond is already choked out by weeds. This pond is also very effected on windy days, as there are no areas to hide in.

  • This is a shallow lake, with some good clear water in the center. I caught three bass in about an hour, which were all small about 3/4 pound ish. The fish was yellow not white on the bottom so i dont think i would eat anything from this lake. As a side note i watched a kid sink his kiak and i dont think it helped the fishing with all the cop cars lights and sirens.
