Crystal Lake Opener

Tried my luck at Crystal lake for the trout opener. The action was fast and furious for the first hour.Seeems like everytime I looked up almost every boat either had or was landing a fish. Then the clouds broke up and the sun came out and nothing, stopped instantly.I didn't see anybody hook anything after 8:00am.By that time every fish in the lake probably seen a lure about sixty times.Lots of boats for such a small lake, maybe fifty or more on a hundred acre lake.Spent just as much time avoiding boats as I did fishing but all in all had a good time.Didn't get nothing big,a few trout, one barely over the slot limit. It was the first fish of the day and I thought I would get a bigger one so I released him, never did get a bigger one so I ended up releasing them all.Met a fellow Fishfinder user out there and he got himself one of those broodstock salmon, beautiful fish but I'll let him tell you all about it.Hope he puts a picture up!-Water temp 45 degrees
